"We are family ..."! This phrase should make plain, that our main audience are and should be Families. We want to be a ski arena which is attractive to Families but it should also be a cheaper alternative to the big but expensive ski arenas for sporty skiers.

The Gastronomy at HAUERECK with Gasthaus Willenshofer ("Hauer"), the "Schneemannhütte" in the valley, a "Schirmbar" at the Hahngrabenabfahrt and two huts ("Sonnenhütte" and "Hauereck-Hütte") at the top of Hauereck is very well prepared for your visit. Quite cheap prices and a high quality will make your breaks very comfortable.

HAUERECK is also very popular to clubs for organizing different ski and snowboard races. For this the slopes are officially certified from the ÖSV and so the slopes have all the requirements for the ÖWO. The local sports club is the right contact for this and is available for you with their knowledge and equipment.

Also for cross-country skier, alpine tourers and backcountry skiers the HAUERECK is a perfect starting point.
